THIRD CONSECUTIVE PODIUM FOR DILLON VAN WAY
“Dillon Van Way, driver of the #600 Subaru STI, brought home a third consecutive Super Production podium at this last weekend’s Sno*Drift rally in Atlanta, MI. The 21-year-old driver from Louisiana has now stood on the podium at every event he’s been to since switching from his Ford Fiesta to this Subaru STI.
“It feels so great to keep this consistency and maintain a top spot in the class” said Van Way. “With that said, though, my eye is on the Overall podium and while this 4th place Overall finish is a good result, I’m committed to increasing the pace and using everything I’m learning to break into consistent top Overall finishes.”
Sno*Drift 2014 saw very cold temperatures with most of the event taking place below zero degrees Fahrenheit. The cold, icy roads and snowbanks proved to be quite the foe to plenty of competitors. “This event was definitely treacherous with more than one team ending their weekend on the first stage of the event. We kept our focus and thankfully had very few moments,” mentioned Van Way on the conditions.”
